Windows Live Writer 2012 Dead – Open Writer is Born

It has been a while since I worked on Windows Live Writer 2012 for writing Blogs, I realized that it stopped working with my Blogger account.

Doing online search I realized that since WLW 2012 has been discontinued, Open Writer has taken its place.

Open Writer is a newer and better open source version of the same application.

Within no time I was able to start using Open Writer with my 2-Step Verified Google account.
